The relationship between the Charmed Ones and half-sisters, Piper Halliwell and Paige Matthews.
Piper and Paige's relationship is complicated. The two do not share as close a bond as they do with their younger sister Phoebe Halliwell. It was hard for Piper, after her older sister Prue died to immediately accept a new sister, and Paige dealt with heavy abandonment issues.
Early
Piper was born four years before Paige was. The two of them did not know of each other's existence when they were children and teens, because Paige spent her life thinking that her adoptive parents were her real ones, and Piper thought that her mother had no other children but herself, Phoebe, and Prue. They found out about each other on May 17, 2001 (one month after the murder of their older sister).
Phoebe's death
Piper was very close with her youngest sister, Phoebe and the two grew up together however after Phoebe died allegedly in a car accident Piper's whole world collapsed and Paige was all time her side. Piper and Paige became close after that and comforted each other.
