- Nina Dobrev as P.J. Halliwell (1x01 - ), the oldest sister. She is "a loving, outspoken woman", a graduate student and now Photo Journalist like her deceased aunt, Prudence Halliwell once. P.J. has the power to move or teleport objects from one location to another through beams. Also, some others have witch powers and cupid powers like her sisters but unlike her sisters, she has a cupid ring only and has a sensing ability with charges who are dangerous. Her first charge was Ryan Lancaster a witch who she had to protect however they fell in love with each other and finally got married.
- Maia Mitchell as Parker Halliwell (1x01 - ), the middle sister. She is not judgmental but she is a person who stands by her morals and she is "a rebellious, passionate woman and high school student". Parker has the power to hear people's thoughts and to propel herself into the air and hover or move through the air slightly and also she has some cupid powers like her sisters. Peyton and her, they don't have a cupid ring or share sensing ability with charges like their oldest sister, P.J.
- Bailee Madison as Peyton Halliwell (1x01 - ), the youngest sister. She is "witty, selfless, and has a heart of gold". Peyton has the power to cause objects or beings to spontaneously ignite in flames and to make herself unable to be seen by other beings. Of course, she has some cupid powers like her sisters but she is not "a cupid agent", not having a cupid ring or sharing sensing ability with charges like her older sister, P.J.

- James Lafferty as Lucas Scott (1x02 - ), the sisters' second Whitelighter and eventually a younger charmed one Peyton's husband.
- Wes Ramsey as Wyatt Halliwell (1x01 - ), the PJ, Parker and Peyton's first Whitelighter. He is Piper and Leo's firstborn son and the oldest brother of both Chris and Mel Halliwell. Also, he is the cousin of P.J., Parker and Peyton Halliwell and Tam, Kat and Henry Jr. Mitchell.
- Cierra Ramirez as Amelia Benson (1x01 - 2x18), Parker Halliwell's best friend until she betrayed her and sleeps with her ex.
- Drew Fuller as Chris Halliwell (1x08), Leo and Piper's second son. He is the younger brother of Wyatt and the older brother of Melinda. He is also a Twice-Blessed child-like Wyatt and Mel. Chris is engaged to Bianca a Phoenix Witch.
- Kaley Cuoco as Billie Jenkins (1x17), Paige's charge, a former student of the sisters, a surrogate aunt of Phoebe's daughters; PJ, Parker and Peyton Halliwell. She is Phoebe's best friend and also Piper's and Paige's. She dated once a mortal man, Nick Ross and having him two children but he died leaving Billie heartbroken and she moved back to San Francisco with her two kids.
- Lucy Hale as Melinda Halliwell (1x08), Leo and Piper's only daughter. She is the younger sister of Wyatt and Chris and she is also a Twice-Blessed child like her two older brothers. She has the power of time-freezing, similar to her mother's and of course, if she is half-whitelighter then she has some whitelighter powers.
- Phoebe Tonkin as Tamora "Tam" Mitchell (1x12), Paige and Henry's firstborn twin daughter besides Kat who was born a minute later. Tam has the power to speed up molecules causing them to heat up and catch fire but her power isn't yet potent enough to cause an explosion like her Aunt Piper can because she was still a baby. Paige decides to bind Tamora's power until she is old enough to control it.
- Holland Roden as Katherine "Kat" Mitchell (1x14), Paige and Henry's second twin daughter who was born after Tam. She and Tam have a brother who got adopted shorter after they were born. Kat has the power to completely freeze things like her Aunt Piper but her powers were bound like Tam's until they both grow old enough to control them.
- Steven R. McQueen as Henry Mitchell Jr. (1x20), Paige and Henry's adopted son. He was born to a mortal teenager who was killed by the Darklighter Rennek and Paige saved his life by orbing him out of her womb. Unlike his other magical family, he did not inherit any of their powers because he was not biologically related to them. Now Henry Jr. has the power to fire blasts of intense cold that freeze objects instantly and some whitelighter powers from the elders.
- Marisol Nichols as Bianca Wright (2x01), Chris Halliwell's fiance, Lynn's daughter and Phoenix Witch.
- Burkely Duffield as Ryan Lancaster (2x01 - ), a police inspector and a powerful witch. He has the power to teleport objects through space and to manipulate the teleportation of other beings. He was P.J.'s charge and also his love interest.
- Julian McMahon as Cole Turner (2x18 - ), half-demon, Phoebe's ex-husband. He was stuck in limbo once but the Elders give him a chance to do good and help people however he falls in love with Phoebe's second daughter and a middle-charmed one, Parker Halliwell.
- Milo Ventimiglia as Colton Turner (3x01), Cole and Phoebe's long-lost son supposedly died but was resurrected by mysterious forces of evil. He is a love interest of a witch-whitelighter, Melinda Halliwell (Piper and Leo's daughter).

- Holly Marie Combs as Piper Halliwell, the new charmed one's maternal aunt, a powerful witch. She was the middle sister once before but after the death of her eldest sister, she becomes the oldest sister and most powerful witch.
- Rose McGowan as Paige Matthews, the new charmed one's maternal aunt, a powerful witch-whitelighter. She raised her sisters far away and returned them after the death of her oldest half-sister, Prue Halliwell.
- Alyssa Milano as Phoebe Halliwell, the girl's mother, a powerful witch. the late sister of Prue and Piper Halliwell and half-sister of Paige Matthews. She was a younger charmed one before but after the death of her eldest sister, she becomes the middle sister in Halliwell-Matthews Sisterhood. She was the wife of a cupid, Coop whom she had three daughters; P.J., Parker and Peyton Halliwell. She died in a car accident that was planned by The Source.
- Shannen Doherty as Prue Halliwell, the late older sister of Piper and Phoebe Halliwell. Also the maternal late half-sister of Paige Matthews. She was killed by a powerful demon, Shax who was sent by the Source to destroy the Charmed Ones.
- Brian Krause as Leo Wyatt, the new charmed one's maternal uncle, a former whitelighter. He is Wyatt, Chris and Mel's father.
- Victor Webster as Coop Halliwell, the girls' father, a cupid agent. He has married Phoebe but she died at the source's hands leaving Coop heartbroken with her three daughters.
- Ivan Sergey as Henry Mitchell, the new charmed one's maternal uncle, a police officer and non-magical. He is the twin girls Tam and Kat's father and Henry Jr adopted dad.
