Phil Ambrose was a witch/warlock hybrid by his father who was a warlock and his mother who was a witch. He was loyal to The Source and tried to join his coven by seducing and killing witches. However, he later betrayed him when he decided to lure P.J. Halliwell to the side of evil as his partner. He failed to turn her into a warlock, and he was vanquished by the Charmed Ones shortly after along with his brother, Simon.

His goal was to seduce a woman and lure her to his side as a partner to make her breed a future heir like his father once did her mother.

Seducing P.J.

Phil tried to seduce PJ to try to lure her to make love with him and breed a future heir with her. In a dorm room, Phil and P.J. have sex however he failed to breed his heir because P.J.'s sister called her.
