Melinda Halliwell was born in 2007, the daughter of Piper and Leo Wyatt; the sister of Chris and Wyatt Halliwell; the widower of Colton Turner; the mother of their only daughter named Charlene Turner, and the sister-in-law of Bianca Wright and Stella Thompson.

Bio

The third and final child of Piper and Leo and their only daughter, Melinda is the only non-hybrid in the family due to the fact she was born after Leo clipped his wings and before he reclaimed his title as a whitelighter and later became an Elder. While she disagrees with her brother’s way of thinking, she still continues to live in the Manor with them. She is not inherently good or evil. She despises magic for all it has done to her family and only uses her own in dire circumstances. Because of this, she has limited control over her powers. They are often triggered by her anger and can sometimes grow too strong for her to handle. She has contemplated binding them many times but her brothers will not allow it.

On the other hand, she is a well-trained fighter and can kick some serious asses when need be. She can often come off as very cold and uncaring and easily hides her emotions. Many of the other characters have even stated on occasion that they have rarely seen her cry. She has a strong hatred for Bianca.

Powers and Abilities

Active Powers

Witch Powers:

Unlike her mother, Mel can selectively alter the flow of time. Due to her unique power set, Mel was often referred to as a "time witch."

• Temporal Manipulation - the power to manipulate the flow of time in a variety of ways. It is a collective term that is used to refer to several temporal-based powers. Mel can freeze even through her own eyes, unlike her mother.

• Temporal Stasis - the ability to completely stop the flow of time. Out of her siblings, she is the only one of Piper's children with this ability and is shown to have a lot of control over the ability, with her often using it. 

• Temporal Displacement: The ability to be displaced from the regular flow of time.

• Telekinetic Orbing - The ability to move or teleport objects through the use of orbs. This power is a hybrid combination of the powers of Orbing and Telekinesis, where instead of moving the object with the mind alone, the object is moved through the use of orbs.

• Deviation: the practiced skill of using one's own magical powers to redirect the magical attacks or projectiles of other beings back on the path of emanation. 

• Remote Orbing: The ability to orb other people from one place to another.

Whitelighter Powers:

• Orbing: The ability to teleport oneself from one place to another using orbs.
• Healing: The ability to heal the injuries and wounds of others.
• Hovering: The magical power to rise in the air a few feet with or without the use of orbs. This power is similar to levitation, but the user can only stay in one place, limiting its efficient capacity to perform minuscule tasks like reaching small heights and meditating.

Inactive Powers:

• High Resistance: The passive ability to be resistant to attacks by weapons, magic, or the powers of other magical beings. This trait allows users to survive otherwise lethal attacks. It also grants users protection against their own powers.
• Immunity: The ability to be completely immune to a certain power, idea, concept, disease, etc.

Temporary Powers:

• Premonition: The ability to perceive visions of the past, present, and future. It is a rare and desirable power and is triggered by touch.
• Flaming: The ability to teleport through a burst of flames.
• Pyrokinesis: the power to create and manipulate fire at will. It can be channeled through the mind or hands.
• Fire Throwing: the powerful and deadly power to project jets of flame from the hands, capable of completely immolating even high-level demons.
• Advanced Fire Throwing: the ability to shoot a beam of highly concentrated torch-like blue fire.

This future Melinda has turned against her family after the death of her husband, Colton. She raised her daughter alone.

Colton's Alternate reality

Colton has created this reality to be with Mel and their daughter. They live in Colton's apartment after Mel has moved out of the manor and has no contract with them.

Dark Future 2061

In this dark timeline, Mel's relatives were dead. She raised her daughter and also her cousin's daughter Posie.
